Beloit, WI -- The Beloit College Women's Tennis team finished up a busy first three days of their season on Saturday with a 9-0 win over Mount Mary College before rain washed away their match with UW-Stevens Point.
The Bucs fell to UW-La Crosse 9-0 on Friday.
Against Mt. Mary, Marian Mears (#1), Trina Capelli (#2), Emma Beck (#3), Libby Storrick (#4), Emma Koeppel (#5) and Maddy Carpenter (#6) all posted Singles wins. In Doubles, Mears/Capelli teamed at #1, Beck/Storrick at #2, and Dominique Bodoh and Alisha Ankin at #3 to preserve the sweep.
The Buccaneers have a day off on Sunday before hosting Wisconsin Lutheran College at the Strong Complex Courts on Labor Day beginning at 4:00 p.m.
