Buccaneers Drop MWC Home Match to Monmouth

Beloit, WI -- The Beloit College Volleyball team and head coach Dawn Redd are looking for something to spark them for the rest of the season following Friday's 3-1 Midwest Conference loss to Monmouth College in Flood Arena.

Beloit took the first set 27-25 but dropped the next three in succession 29-27, 25-16, 25-23.

Mary Parker led the attack with 17 kills and a .304 hitting percentage.  She also added 27 digs.  Tess Jacquez had 11 kills.

Caitlin O'Leary continued her assault on the Beloit set assists career mark with 44.  She now has  3,263, putting her just over 200 behind Alina Soros (1993-96) for second on the all-time list.

Margo Regier added 13 digs and Laura Toth had four blocks.

The Buccaneers look to get back on track on Saturday afternoon when they host Illinois College in another MWC match.  First serve is at 1:00 p.m.
