Beloit, WI -- The Beloit College Women's Soccer team wasn't very happy with their first half performance against Knox College at the Strong Complex Soccer Field on Saturday afternoon.
So they did something about it.
Beloit scored three times in the second to topple the Prairie Fire 4-2.
After KC had scored the first two goals of the game in the first 29 minutes, Rachel Kotkin finally got the Bucs on the board at 32:30 to make it 2-1 at the break, assisted by Anna Blankschien.
The Buccaneers then took over in the second half.
Blankschien scored on a penalty kick at 53:30 to tie it up before Jane Eisner put in what proved to be the game-winner off an assist from Molly Dickson at 77:20. Blankschien added some insurance at 87:45, assisted by Sarah Dickinson, for the final score.
Katie Schurr had two saves in net for the win.
The Bucs don't get much rest before they get back on the pitch, hosting Lake Forest College on Sunday afternoon in the final home game of the season. Play begins at 1:00 p.m.
