Women Win Two of Three at Carroll Quad

Waukesha, WI -- The Beloit College Women's Swimming & Diving team won two of their three duals at the Carroll Quad in Waukesha on Friday night.

The Men's squad dropped close decisions in all three dual results.

The Buccaneer Women fell to host Carroll 63-30 but defeated Marquette University 48-37 and Ripon College 55-34.

The Men fell to Carroll 45-39, to Marquette 47-39 and to Ripon 48-42.

Greg Schalla led the Bucs' effort with a pair of firsts, winning the 200 and 500 Free. The Men's 400 Medley Relay team of Schalla, Paden Debois, Patrick Duvall and Joe Seidel also posted a win.

For the Women, the 400 Free Relay foursome of Marin Matchinske-Brehmer, Connie Meltzer, Aria Walsh-Felz and Kate Wolf posted the team's only first place finish.

The Buccaneers are back at home next Saturday to host the Beloit Quad in the Kresge Natatorium. Action starts at 1:00 p.m.
