Beloit, WI -- The Beloit College Men's Soccer team spotted visiting Knox College the first goal of their match on Saturday afternoon at the Strong Complex Soccer Field and then ran off five unanswered goals to win 5-2.
After the Prairie Fire scored 11 minutes into the game, Jackson Wilkins tied it up ten minutes later on an assist from Brian Maunze. Anthony Racine gave Beloit the lead at 34:15 off an assist by Tom Slusher and the Bucs led 2-1 at the break.
Both teams were quiet for the first 25 minutes of the second half before Marc Robinson broke the silence at 71:00 to make it 3-1. Racine got his second goal of the game two minutes later, assisted by Robinson, before Wilkins closed out the Beloit scoring at 82:30 off a Racine assist.
Knox finished the scoring with two minutes left.
Marco Castelan made two saves in net for the win.
The Buccaneers turn right around for a Sunday afternoon match, hosting Lake Forest College at approximately 3:30 p.m., their final home match of the season.
