Waukesha, WI -- The Beloit College Men's Basketball team fell behind Carroll University early in the game on the way to a 67-51 loss in Waukesha on Wednesday night.
Carroll scored the first eight points of the game and led 17-6 nine minutes in. The lead got to 14 at 32-18 with three minutes left before the Buccaneers pulled back to within seven at the 1:24 mark on a Michael Horton jumper. Carroll led 34-25 at the break.
CU came out strong in the second half and scored the first seven points to get their biggest lead at 41-25 just over two minutes in. The Bucs got back within 12 at 46-34 with 13:42 left but that was as close as they'd get.
Patrick Kenny scored ten points and grabbed seven rebounds to lead Beloit. Travis Towns also had ten points.
The Buccaneers continue their road trip on Saturday afternoon at Ripon College. Tipoff is at 4:00 p.m.
