The Beloit College Softball team dropped a non-conference doubleheader at North Central College on Thursday, falling 8-1 and 8-0.

The Beloit College Baseball team finally got their home schedule underway but the results were not what they were looking for. The Buccaneers fell twice to Illinois Wesleyan University 6-4 in nine innings and 11-6. Both games were seven inning contests.

The Beloit College Baseball team dropped a pair of tight games to North Central College on Sunday, falling 3-2 and 8-7 with NCC scoring the winning run in the bottom of the ninth in both contests.

The Beloit College Softball team ended an eight-game losing streak Saturday with a 7-4 win over Rockford College at the Strong Complex Field, the last game of the Beloit Triangular. The Bucs fell 3-0 to Loras College in the first game.

The Beloit College Softball team was definitely looking for better results as they opened the 2012 home schedule on a Summer-like day at the Strong Complex Softball Field. Instead undefeated Wheaton College took a pair of games, winning 4-1 and 8-0.

The Beloit College Baseball team ended their Spring Trip on a high note Saturday with a 3-2 win in the second game of a doubleheader with Becker College of Massachusetts. Becker took the opener 4-3 in nine innings.
