    Derek Carrier, a senior wide receiver for the Beloit College Football team from Edgerton, Wisconsin, has been named the Wisconsin Football Coaches Association Private College Player of the Year.  The organization announced the honor this week.

    The Beloit College Men’s Soccer team landed three spots on the First Team of the 2011 All-Midwest Conference Soccer Team and had four honorees overall.  The squad was released today by the Conference Office following a vote of league coaches.

  • Dickson Earns All-MWC Honors for Fourth Time

    Senior forward Molly Dickson, a native of Egg Harbor, Wisconsin (Gibraltor) has earned All-Midwest Conference Women’s Soccer honors for the fourth time in her four-year career as she was named to the First Team on the 2011 All-MWC Women’s Soccer team, released today by the Conference Office.  The squad is selected by a vote of league coaches.

  • Buccaneer Softball Squad to Host Winter Clinics

    The Beloit College Softball team will be hosting clinics during the months of January and February.  All clinics are geared toward fastpitch softball players in the third through 12th grades and will be held at the Beloit College Sports Center and Marvin Fieldhouse on campus.

    For Jennifer Randall, the nerves were there all day, and likely yesterday too. 

    But the Beloit College Women's Basketball team settled the nerves of their first-year head coach in a big way by topping Concordia University 63-55 in Flood Arena on Tuesday night in the season opener for both squads.
