Beloit, WI -- The Beloit College Men's Soccer team saw Midwest Conference contender Carroll University score four times in the opening half on the way to a 4-1 loss on a rainy Halloween late afternoon at the Strong Complex Soccer Field Thursday.
Carroll took control very early in the match, scoring just 20 seconds in. They added a second goal ten minutes later and then made it 4-0 at the half with a pair of goals less than a minute apart.
The Bucs got on the scoreboard with eight minutes remaining when Phillip Amsden hit the back of the net off an assist from Sean Little.
BJ Kiser made eight saves for the Buccaneers in net.
Beloit closes its 2013 campaign on Saturday afternoon when they host Cornell College at Strong for Senior Day. Action begins at 3:30 p.m.
