October 3, 2012 at 7:38 pm

Rockford, IL -- The Beloit College Men's Soccer team took a break from Midwest Conference play but didn't give Rockford College much of a break in a 6-0 win on Wednesday.

Marc Robinson scored three goals to lead the Bucs.  Aaron Clark, Philip Amsden and Alexander Carnes also scored.  Jackson Wilkins, Ryan Munger, Isaiah Turner-Wyatt and Julian Baker added assists.

Robinson scored his first two goals in a two-minute span of the opening half to stake the Buccaneers to a 2-0 lead at the break.  Clark scored his goal two minutes into the second half before Robinson completed his hat trick on a penalty kick at the 53:05 mark.

BJ Kiser made three saves in net for the win.  Soshi Mizutani shared the shutout with Kiser, playing the final 17 minutes in goal.

Beloit is back in action on Saturday afternoon when they host Grinnell College at the Strong Complex Field.  Kickoff is set for 1:30 p.m.
