Beloit, WI -- The Beloit College Men's Soccer team knew they needed to shake off their disappointing defeat on Saturday in a hurry. And they did just that with a physical 2-0 win over Ripon College at the Strong Complex Soccer Field on Sunday afternoon.
Ryan Munger provided what proved to be the only goal Beloit needed at 35:56 of the opening half after a Ripon foul, burrying the shot for a 1-0 lead. Anthony Racine gave the team some insurance ten minutes into the second half off an assist from Isaiah Turner-Wyatt to close out the scoring.
With a big assist from the defense in front of him BJ Kiser made three saves in net for the win.
Beloit steps away from Midwest Conference play on Wednesday with a match at Rockford College. Game time is at 4:30 p.m.
