Buccaneers Race Past Maranatha in Final Tuneup for MWC Play

Beloit, WI -- The Beloit College Men's Soccer team overwhelmed Maranatha Baptist Bible College 6-0 at the Strong Complex Soccer Field on Saturday in their final tuneup before they begin Midwest Conference play next week.

Anthony Racine had a hat trick while Jackson Wilkins had two goals and two assists to lead the way.  Marc Robinson added the other goal.  Thorin Blitz and Phillip Amsden added assists.

The Bucs got four goals in the opening 45 minutes and never looked back.  Racine scored the first and fourth goal of the half while Robinson and Wilkins got the second and third tallies, respectively.  Wilkins made it 5-0 seven minutes into the second half before Racine closed out his hat trick at the 59:00 mark.

BJ Kiser got his second shutout of the season with two saves in net.  Beloit out-shot the Eagles 20-5 for the game.

Beloit heads into MWC play on Wednesday night at Carroll University in a 7:00 p.m. kickoff in Waukesha.
