Beloit, WI -- Jackson Wilkins, a junior forward for the Beloit College Men's Soccer team from Helena, Montana (Capital), has been named to the National Soccer Coaches Association of American All-North Region First Team, the organization announced.
In addition, Wilkins, Marc Robinson and Kellen Sullivan were named to the All-Wisconsin State Team.
The NSCAA selection is the second in as many years for Wilkins, making him the first Beloit College player with multiple selections to the team since Aaron Whetstone in 2003 and 2004. He led the Bucs in scoring for the third straight season with nine goals and four assists for 22 points. After three seasons he ranks sixth in Beloit Men’s Soccer history with 31 goals while his 75 career points put him just outside the top five. Wilkins was also a First Team All-MWC pick for the third straight season this past Fall.
Robinson, a junior midfielder from Kingston, Jamaica (Jamaica College), was second on the team in scoring with eight goals and two assists for 18 points. He also tied for the team lead with three game-winning goals. He also earned First Team All-MWC honors this past season.
Sullivan, a senior defender from Helena, Montana (Capital), had a career high three assists while anchoring the defensive unit. He also earned First Team All-MWC honors in 2011.
The Buccaneers finished the 2011 season with an 8-8-2 overall record, 6-2-1 in the Midwest Conference in head coach Tim Schmiechen's 22nd season. They earned a spot in the MWC Tournament and advanced to the Championship Match before falling.
