Beloit, WI -- The Beloit College Men's Soccer team got what they needed from a pair of juniors on Senior Day at the Strong Complex Soccer Field Sunday on the way to a 2-1 win over Illinois College in the home finale.
Seniors Kellen Sullivan, Scott Dyke, John Jorgenson and Tom Slusher played their final home game.
Marc Robinson got the Buccaneers on the board at the 23:06 mark off an assist from Tony Racine. Jackson Wilkins gave Beloit some insurance nine minutes later with a penalty kick score to make it 2-0 into the half.
The insurance goal paid off when the Blueboys scored with under six minutes remaining to cut the deficit in half. But the Bucs held on for the key Midwest Conference win.
BJ Kiser made four saves in net.
The Buccaneers have a week off before continuing their drive for a spot in the MWC Tournament in the regular-season finale at Monmouth College. Kickoff is set for 2:30 p.m.
