Beloit, WI -- The Beloit College Men's Soccer team has gotten hot, posting their third straight Midwest Conference win and the fourth in five matches on Saturday afternoon at the Strong Complex Soccer Field in a 4-1 victory over St. Norbert College.
For the day at least, the Bucs jump into first place in the league over Carroll University, who was idle, with 12 points.
Jackson Wilkins provided the fire power Saturday with a pair of goals and an assist.
Tom Slusher opened the scoring just six minutes into the match off an assist from Wilkins. That goal stood up as the Bucs led 1-0 at the break.
Spencer Moore scored his first collegiate goal three minutes into the second half to put Beloit up 2-0 but SNC cut that lead in half at 56:21.
Wilkins then put things away with back-to-back goals at 68:15 and 84:40 as the Buccaneers won going away.
BJ Kiser made five saves in net, four in the second half, to record the win in net.
Beloit has the week off before getting back in action next Saturday at Lawrence University. Game time is 3:30 p.m.
