Madison, WI -- The Beloit College Men's Soccer team fought through 110 minutes on Sunday night in Madison, coming away with a 2-2 overtime tie with Edgewood College.
The Buccaneers broke a scoreless tie at 28:32 when Tony Racine hit the back of the net off an assist from Kellen Sullivan. That goal stood up through the half with Beloit leading 1-0.
Edgewood tied it at 1-all at the 58:26 mark and then took a 2-1 lead 12 minutes later.
But Tom Slusher brought the Bucs back with an unassisted score, knocking it in off the post, to tie it at 2-all with under 13 minutes left.
The teams then went through 20 minutes of overtime with no scoring to settle for the draw.
Beloit has a few days off before hosting Concordia University of Wisconsin on Wednesday at 4:30 p.m. at the Strong Complex Soccer Field.
