Beloit, WI -- The Beloit College Men's Soccer team peppered the Illinois College goalkeep for 90 minutes and got four in the back of the net to secure a 4-2 Midwest Conference over Illinois College at the Strong Complex Soccer Field on Thursday.
Jackson Wilkins got things going at the 18:39 mark off an assist from Silas Connelly. Ryan Munger made it 2-0 at 37:58, with the assist again going to Connelly. That lead held for the Buccaneers into the break.
Wilkins scored his second goal three minutes into the second half off a third assist of the game by Connelly, making it 3-0.
IC cut the lead back to two at 56:20 but Munger put the advantage back to three goals eight minutes later, with the assist going to Wilkins.
The Blueboys again cut the lead to two at 66:34 but the Bucs held strong for the final 24 minutes for the win.
Beloit looks to extend their modest two-game winning streak on Saturday when they travel to St. Norbert College for a 3:30 p.m. MWC game.
