Ripon, WI – The Beloit College Men’s Soccer team has been picked second in the Midwest Conference Pre-Season Coaches Poll, garnering three first-place votes in the process.  The poll was released by the Conference Office this afternoon.

The Buccaneers fell in behind two-time defending champion Carroll University, who received six first-place votes.  St. Norbert College was third and Grinnell College fourth.

Lake Forest College received the final first-place vote and was slotted fifth followed by Ripon College, Illinois College, Lawrence University, Monmouth College and Knox College.

The Bucs finished 10-4-5 last season, including 5-2-2 in the MWC.  The ten wins were their most since the 2006 Championship season, as were their five conference wins.
