Beloit, WI -- The Beloit College Men's Lacrosse team dropped a 14-3 game to Albion College at Strong Stadium on Wednesday night.
Beloit stayed with the experienced Britons in the opening half but AC took charge out of halftime with eight unanswered goals.
Down 3-0 early in the second quarter Jacob Pritscher got the Bucs on the board at the 13:00 mark. Xavier Ward then made it a one-goal game just over a minute later. Albion responded with three goals to move up 6-2 before Liam O'Connor scored on the man advantage, assisted by Thomas Porkka, to make it 6-3 at the break.
But that was all the scoring the Buccaneers would get while the Britons scored four times in both the third and fourth quarter to secure the win.
Trevor Kenahan made 11 saves in a little over three quarters of work before Jace Hodder came on in the fourth quarter and made six saves.
The Bucs hit the road this weekend when they play at Calvin College on Saturday afternoon. Game time is set for 1:00 p.m. CDT.
