Ripon, WI -- David Bremner, a 6'5 junior forward for the Beloit College Men's Basketball team from Boulder, Colorado, has been named to the Second Team on the All-Midwest Conference Men's Basketball team.  The squad was released today by the Conference Office.

It's the second straight All-MWC honor for Bremner, who was an Honorable Mention pick in 2009-10.

Bremner led the squad in scoring at 14.5 points per game and rebounding with 6.0 rpg.  He ranked seventh in the league in rebounding, including fourth in offensive rebounding and eighth in defensive rebounding.  He also led the team in blocked shots with just over one per game and ranked sixth in the conference.

Bremner led the Buccaneers in scoring in 11 of their 23 games, including scoring a 34 points in a 119-108 win over Grinnell College on January 21 in Flood Arena.

He had two double-doubles this season and now has three in his two-season Beloit career.

The Bucs finished 9-14 overall this season, including 8-10 in MWC play.
