    The Beloit College Football team put up two touchdowns in the fourth quarter but it wasn't enough as they fell at St. Norbert College 30-14 in the Midwest Conference opener for both squads on Saturday.

    The Beloit College Football team has been picked sixth in a preseason poll of league coaches as the 2011 season approaches kickoff.  The Conference Office released the poll today.

    Beloit College today announced plans to return its track and field program to national prominence (and home competition), add two NCAA Division III lacrosse teams to its varsity sports offerings, and replace its main stadium turf with an artificial surface. Beloit, which will field both men’s and women’s lacrosse squads, will be the first in the Midwest Conference to host the sport at the varsity level, and just the second program in the 14-school Associated Colleges of the Midwest, joining Colorado College.

    Tony Baratti, a senior linebacker for the Beloit College Football team from Arlington Heights, Illinois, has been named to the D3Football.com All-West Region Team.  The website announced its All-Region teams on Thursday morning.

    Beloit College seniors Tony Baratti, a linebacker from Arlington Heights, Illinois, and Andrew Christensen, an all-purpose back from Janesville, Wisconsin, have been selected to play in the second annual DIII Football Senior Classic at Salem Stadium in Salem, Virginia on Friday night, December 3.
