The Beloit College Football team had their 2010 season opener in hand until the last 43 seconds as the University of Chicago scored a touchdown on a short pass and tacked on a two-point conversion for a 28-25 in front of 1,200 at Strong Stadium on Saturday night.

The Beloit College Football team has been picked fourth in a pre-season poll of league coaches as the 2010 season approaches kickoff.  The Conference Office released the poll this afternoon.

Senior linebacker Tony Baratti and senior wide receiver/running back Andrew Christensen have both received pre-season mention as the 2010 Football season draws closer.

Andrew Christensen, a junior wide receiver/running back for the Beloit College Football team from Janesaville, Wisconsin, has been named as the return man on the D3football.com 2009 All-West Region Team. The squad was announced on Thursday evening.

The Beloit College Football was rewarded for its first six-win season since 2002 with 13 players being named to the 2009 All-Midwest Conference Football Team. The Conference office released the team today.

The Beloit College Football team started slowly and couldn't quite make it all the way back in a 50-42 loss at Illinois College in Jacksonville, Illinois, on Saturday.
