Men's & Women's Swimming and Diving

The Buccaneer Swimming & Diving Team has been named the Beloit College "Buccaneer of the Week". The Bucs set six school records at the Midwest Conference Championships over the weekend, including erasing the oldest one in both the Women's and Men's Record Book. The records set were the Women's 100 Fly by Dana Olesch (which beat a record set in 1990); the 100 Breast by Shaunte Moss (a record she broke three times this season, including twice on Saturday in the prelims and finals); the Women's 200 Medley Relay of Emma Canny, Moss, Olesch and Cherrelle Phon; the Men's 200 Free Relay of Will McAneny, Austin Smith, Arthur Staub and Greg Schalla; the Men's 400 Free Relay of McAneny, Smith, Staub and Schalla (which beat a record set in 1984); and the Men's 800 Free Relay of McAneny, Staub, John Kamada and Schalla.
