The Beloit College Baseball team, coming off an unprecedented 2009 season, have been ranked just outside the Top 30 in the Collegiate Baseball newspaper NCAA Division III Pre-Season Poll.
The Poll was released on December 21.
The Buccaneers, who finished 28-9 last season while winning the Midwest Conference regular season and Tournament Championships and advancing to the NCAA Division III Tournament, are ranked 31st in the 30-team poll.
The University of St. Thomas Minnesota, the defending National Champions, is the pre-season #1.
Beloit opens its 2010 season on Sunday, February 28, when they play Widener University in Winter Haven, Florida, as part of the RussMatt Central Florida Invitational.
