    The Beloit College Baseball team absorbed a heart-breaking loss on Monday in their second day of the Spring trip, falling to Bethany Lutheran College of Minnesota 4-3 on a rare walk-off balk in the bottom of the ninth inning.

    The Beloit College Baseball team settled for a split of their doubleheader with Webster University on Sunday as they got the 2011 season going.  The Bucs won game one 3-0 before dropping game two 9-5 in eight innings.

  • Baseball Squad Slotted Third in MWC North Pre-Season Poll

    The Beloit College Baseball team, deep into preparations for their Spring Trip to the RussMatt Central Arizona Invite, has been picked for third in the Midwest Conference North Division in the 2011 MWC Pre-Season Poll.  The Poll was released Wednesday by the Conference Office.

  • Jaenicke Named to ABCA Central Region Gold Glove Team

    Jordan Jaenicke, a sophomore third baseman for the Beloit College Baseball team from Bourbonnais, Illinois (Bishop McNamara) has been named to the American Baseball Coaches Association Central Region Rawlings Gold Glove Team.

  • Bucs Put Three on MWC Baseball Squad

    Three 2010 Beloit College Baseball players closed out their careers on top, earning a spot on the 2010 All-Midwest Conference North Division team. The Conference office announced the results of the vote of Division coaches today.

    Senior second baseman Scott Slubowski (Chicago, Ill./Marist) was a First-Team selection for the third straight season while senior shortstop Ryan Schmitz (Cleveland, Wis./Sheboygan North) and senior pitcher Jordan DeGeorge (Beloit, Wis./Turner) were named First Team for the second straight year. Schmitz was also Second Team in 2008.

  • Bucs Win Suspended Game, Drop Doubleheader

    The Beloit College Baseball team finished up a disappointing long day of play on Sunday at The Ballpark at Strong Stadium, winning a suspended game from Thursday to start the day before dropping both games of the regularly-scheduled doubleheader against St. Norbert College.

    The Bucs won the game suspended on Thursday in De Pere because of darkness 12-11 before falling 4-2 and 7-4.

  • Bucs Fall in Game One Slugfest

    The Beloit College Baseball team came up just short in a first-game slugfest at St. Norbert College on Thursday afternoon, falling 20-18.

    Game two was suspended by darkness in the eighth inning with the Bucs leading 8-5.

  • Buccaneers Complete MWC Sweep of Vikings, Reach 20 Wins

    The Beloit College Baseball team finished up a four-game Midwest Conference sweep of Lawrence University at Pohlman Field in Beloit on Tuesday night, winning 13-3 and 11-1.

    The Beloit College Baseball team finally got back on the field after a rainy weekend and rode a pair of complete games to a sweep of Lawrence University in Appleton on Monday night, winning 7-1 and 12-2.

  • DeGeorge Wins 275th

    Dave DeGeorge doesn't talk a lot about personal milestones. But he hit a big one of Wednesday in the cold and rain at Road Ranger Stadium.

    The Beloit College Baseball team came from behind to defeat Rockford College 10-9 and give DeGeorge his 275th career win as head coach. He is in his 20th season at the helm of the Buccaneers.

  • Bucs Split with Carroll Sunday, Take MWC Series 3-1

    The Beloit College Baseball team settled for a split with Carroll University at The Ballpark at Strong Stadium on Sunday afternoon - taking game one 10-7 before dropping the nightcap 18-10 - and took the Midwest Conference series with the Pioneers three games to one.
