Sustainability Fellows Program

Six students completed the Sustainability Fellows Program in the summer of 2011.

Native species research

The oak savanna south of the Science Center is growing well as is the Eloise Marston Schnaitter Wildflower garden.  Sustainability Fellow Lucile Tepsa completed a brochure about the plantings during the summer of 2011.

Greenhouse

The greenhouse is supporting student research for Botany, Environmental Biology, Genetics and other classes. 

Urban ecology

Students in my Environment and Society course created the Beloit as an Ecosystem website to summarize their findings.
