Beloit College Class Agent Home

Who becomes a Class Agent and what do they do?

Any Beloiter who supports the College financially can become a Class Agent. As part of Beloit's volunteer network, Class Agents are both Beloit insiders and leaders, and we count on them to share news and updates with their classmates. Whether it be promoting Homecoming or Reunion, connecting with friends to update their information, or encouraging participation in the Beloit Career Network, their role is crucial to the success of Beloit! More experienced Class Agents ask their classmates to support the College financially through letter writing, personal phone calls, and thank yous.

Beloitish responsibilities include:

  • Making an early annual gift to the Beloiter Fund and explaining to peers why your contribution matters
  • Staying in touch with classmates via social media and other communication outlets such as phone outreach
  • Gathering news and notes on classmates for the Fall, Spring, and Summer editions of the Beloit College Magazine
  • Volunteering for your reunion committee in reunion years and recruiting new volunteers
  • Participating in two annual conference calls with Alumni Staff to provide feedback and discuss best practices
  • Attending and promoting BRAGS and other events in your region
  • Attending the volunteer summit or other annual training
