Who’s Coming?
To see if your friends intend to come, check the Who’s Coming section of the web site. The list is automatically updated with each registration.

Do I have to register?
Yes. Registration counts are essential for successful planning; they ensure plenty of space and food to accommodate all reunion attendees. Also, by registering, you will receive a reunion packet with the final schedule and a nametag. If you are coming to Homecoming & Reunion Weekend but only plan to attend the free events, please register by emailing alumni affairs or sending in your registration form with just your contact information filled out.

I registered, but I can't come. Can I get a refund?
Yes. Refunds will be issued if you notify alumni affairs by Sept. 15.

I accidently hit submit more than once when I registered online. Can I get a credit?
Yes. If you registered more than once, contact alumni affairs and they will request that your duplicate registrations be credited to your card.

Do I have to wear a nametag?
Yes. Please be sure to wear your nametag while on campus. This identifies you as a guest of the College and will allow you access to campus facilities.

Why didn't I get a reunion directory questionnaire?
Reunion directories have been discontinued for the 5th-45th reunions. Alumni feedback, increasing expenses, and the introduction of My Beloit contributed to the decision. Please use My Beloit to reconnect with your classmates and share personal news.

Are children welcome?
Yes! Children are welcome to join in the festivities throughout the weekend.

Is child care available?
Saturday, Sept. 27, from 6-10 p.m. college personnel and student volunteers will be on-hand at the Alumni House to ensure your child is entertained and cared for while you’re at your reunion dinner. To sign-up contact the Alumni Office.

Do I have to pay for my children to eat the breakfast?
Children 5 years and younger may eat for free at the Sunday breakfast.

Where should I go when I arrive?
When you arrive on campus, proceed to Registration and Check-In located in the lobby of the Godfrey Anthropology Building/Logan Museum. Here you will receive your registration packet; inside you will find a final weekend schedule, campus map, name tag, and more.

Parking on Campus
Short-term parking will be reserved for reunion attendees on College Street, across from the Alumni House and conveniently located near the Godfrey Anthropology/Logan Museum building where Registration and Check-in is located. All other parking is on a first come, first serve basis. Please refer to the Virtual Campus Map for parking locations and handicap access points.

Will a shuttle service be provided?
Yes, a small campus van will be looping from the off-campus sites to campus throughout the weekend. The shuttle will be available Friday from 10 a.m.-midnight; Saturday, 8 a.m.-midnight; Sunday, 8 a.m.-2 p.m. The shuttle may be picked up at the Alumni House, 613 College Street. However, because space is limited to 5-6 seats on the shuttle, we still recommend making prior arrangements if possible. Your reunion group in My Beloit is a perfect place to solicit car-sharing volunteers. A message board will also be available in Registration and Check-In to facilitate connections. Visit the Getting Around page for more options.

Will you give me a ride from the bus stop?
Yes, pick-ups at the Van Galder bus stop will be available by appointment. Email or call us at 800-331-4943 with your name, class year, number of passengers, date, and time of arrival. Please Note: Pick-ups will be fit into the shuttle route as close to your arrival time as possible, but a short wait may be required.

What should I wear?
Most dress comfortably and casually while visiting campus during the day and then change to business casual or dress attire for the evening events. Be sure to check the weather prior to coming to ensure you have appropriate clothing for the elements.

Why isn't my department hosting an event?
Hosting a reunion event is the choice of each department. If you'd like to encourage a department to host an event either contact the chair directly or send a request to Jen Scott'01 to forward.

What counts as a Reunion Gift?
The combined reunion gift total includes all new gifts and pledges made from June 1, 2008 to May 31, 2009. Beloit Fund gifts, gifts designated for special purposes, and planned gifts are all counted in reunion gift totals.

How does Reunion Giving impact the Classic. Daring. Life-changing. campaign?
The Classic. Daring. Life-Changing. campaign  is a 5 year, $100 million campaign that will change the face of the College with a new Center for the Sciences and increase the endowment so that Beloit can better serve its students. Reunions during the course of the campaign occur at a time when your gift will make the biggest impact on the future of Beloit College. All gifts will be counted toward both your reunion and the campaign totals.

Who do I contact if I have questions about Reunion Giving?
If you have questions about reunion giving contact Tim McKearn, Director of Development.
