Wallace Bradley Tyrrell

Class of 1906

Administrator, Businessman, Counselor

Bachelor of Arts, Beloit College 1906; longtime Director of Sales and Vice-President of the Bradley Knitting Company; self-sacrificing public servant in Delavan and Beloit, in San Diego, California, and in Washington DC.  Civilian expert on production and delivery of war material in World War I; one-time president of the National Sheep and Wool Bureau; recipient of the Gold and Silver Palms from the French Academy for work with the Logan-Sahara Beloit College Expedition to Africa; for nearly three decades an effective Trustee and Administrative Officer of the College, Upon recommendation of the Alumni Council, I am happy to present to you, as a small token of Beloit’s appreciation and affection, this Award of Merit.
