Arthur Hawley Parmelee

Class of 1905

Born and bred in Wisconsin from New England stock; leader among your fellows while at Beloit, balancing activities of brain and muscle; gifted medical student chosen early to join the staff of your medical college as a specialist in clinical pediatrics; attending pediatrician at great Chicago hospitals; for decades using your skill and care to help children and reassure anxious parents; giving wider spread in medical journals to ideas for improvement and advance in therapeutic and diagnostic procedure in children’s diseases; working still, in your new home, for further progress in the field of child care.  Your career has brought you national recognition, and reflects honor on your Alma Mater.

This be the evidence of admiration and high regard by your fellow Alumni and from Beloit College.
