Bachelor of Arts, Beloit College, 1902. Member of Los Angeles Clinical Group, founder and director of Merrill Osteopathic Sanitarium and of Mento Sano Hospital. Teacher and trustee of the College of Osteopathic Physicians and Surgeons. One of the greatest American college athletes. In accordance with the recommendation of the Alumni Council, I take pleasure in presenting to you this Award of Merit.
