Mac Harvey McCrady

Class of 1906

Water Engineer – Health Official

You are one of many Beloit College graduates inspired by one of Beloit’s great professors, E. G. Smith, to go into the field of water purification and conservation as your life work.  Your endeavors for forty-four years with the Ministry of Health in Canadian provinces have made those places healthier and safer.  You have been honored with the Fuller Award and by an honorary degree at McGill University.

The text of the distinguished service citation for this alumna/us is missing from the Beloit College archives, therefore, the aforementioned is an excerpt from the citation, which was printed in the Beloit College Magazine, 1966.
