Charles Winter Wood Scholarship
Students who wish to be considered for merit scholarships are strongly encouraged to apply by December 1 under the non-binding early action plan.
Named for one of the first black students at Beloit college (Class of 1895), these scholarships are worth up to full tuition per year, renewable for four years.
Charles Winter Wood Scholarships are awarded to low income*, first generation, and/or domestic minority students from rigorous college-preparatory programs who demonstrate student leadership and involvement. Scholarship selection will be made during the application review process.
To compete, students must have a completed application for admission on file by January 15.
* The criteria to define low-income can be found here.
