The Advising Practicum is a full-day series of workshops and sessions that, during your first three semesters, begins with the Initiatives advising workshop. It’s meant to help you get the most out of your education by reflecting on your educational experiences and interests and developing a self-directed and personally rewarding course of study—all with the guidance and expertise of your advisors, professors, our in-house professional resources, alumni, and your peers.
The Fall 2015 Advising Practicum will take place on Wednesday, October 28.
The college dedicates this day to conversations with advisors about academic priorities and plans for activities at Beloit and beyond. The full schedule for the day, which starts with Initiatives class meetings and continues with a Major Fair and workshops, panel discussions and other conversations, is available online at www.beloit.edu/practicum.
