Eligibility
Students in good standing, whose faculty recommend them, qualify. Some programs will have gpa requirements. See the Application Process page for answers regarding study abroad policies and practices.Enrollment in Domestic Off-Campus Programs
Students enrolling in domestic programs may do so either by applying for permission through the College or by taking a vacation term and transferring credit to Beloit College. Beloit College financial aid applies if the student does not take a vacation term.Students who take a vacation term for domestic study need to consult with the Registrar for transfer credit. Students should note that the maximum number of units that can be transferred toward the Beloit degree is 15. Further, only 2 units of these units may be earned in the senior year.
Estimate your costs
Keep in mind that you wil probably not have a job while studying off-campus, and the added cost of personal travel. [If approved through the Office of International Education, your financial aid can be applied during the regular academic year.] Link to information on Costs and Financial AidNote: Domestic programs can be expensive. If a program’s tuition exceeds Beloit College tuition, the student must pay the difference.
