ACADEMIC REQUIREMENTS

Images of BeloitWhether you enter Beloit with a definite idea of what your major will be or you arrive with a very open mind about your academic plans, Beloit's liberal arts breadth requirements give you both the freedom to explore your interests and a structure in which to base your exploration. During your first two years, you will sample two courses from each of the College's three academic divisions: Mathematics and Natural Sciences; Social Sciences; and Arts and Humanities. The choice of which two courses you take is yours! Below are examples of courses that satisfy Beloit's breadth requirements. Keep in mind, however, this is a brief sample-almost every class offered at Beloit may satisfy the liberal arts breadth requirements!
